The deal covers the 90 MW wind farm Pestera (Romania) and complete the 228 MW total the company has in the country.

EDP ​​Renewables has signed a financing agreement of EUR 73 million with a consortium of banks led by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and IFC, a member of the World Bank to implement a wind farm of 90 megawatts (MW) in Romania.

The deal covers the 90 MW wind farm Pestera (Romania) and complete the 228 MW total the company has in the country who are covered entirely by financing structures totaling 188 million euros.

The company has stressed its ability to close project financing operations in Eastern Europe and stressed that this satisfies the stringent requirements of members with investment criteria, while clearly committed to the development of renewable energy.
