Peru begins to push wind and solar energy. The fair will be held from 8 to 10 September 2011, at the Centro Cultural San Marcos (La Casona).

The National Environmental Fund (FONAM) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) have been leading the promotion of all alternatives and possibilities for Peruvian SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) to insert new clean technologies and renewable energy within their production processes to reduce costs, increase competitiveness and contribute to environmental sustainability.

In this regard, the IDB FONAM signed an agreement to promote these initiatives within SMEs through the implementation of the “III INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF ENERGY AND ECO-EFFICIENCY-EEC PERU 2011”, an event which will be discussed and set out everything related to clean technologies, renewable energies (wind, solar, biomass, hydro) energy efficiency, green buildings and bioclimatic architecture, CDM – Clean Development Mechanism and other energy sources (geothermal, tidal, etc.).

The fair will be held from 8 to 10 September 2011, at the Centro Cultural San Marcos (La Casona) from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

During these days will feature speakers from renowned international experts in the field to provide the knowledge and skills, providers of goods and services, national and international marketers of materials and equipment for clean technologies, renewable energy, efficient energy and green buildings.
