After having acquired stakes in two companies specializing in renewable energy, after acquiring two wind farms in North Dakota (USA), Google is one more step in “sustainable development” by entering into a purchase agreement to green electricity in 20 years with the company NextEra Energy.

The leading Internet search engine said on its blog that it would buy wind power NextEra Energy, with facilities located in Iowa and featuring a total capacity of 114 megawatts.
