A wind farm of 45 MW and 85 million euros investment, the new venture of Acciona Energy.

It will be on the island of Lamèque, Arcadia peninsula in the province of New Brunswick, on the Atlantic coast of Canada. According to company estimates, will be operational in early 2011 and consists of 30 wind turbines of 1.5 MW Acciona Windpower Technology.

Will be the fourth wind farm of the Spanish company, which already has three on Canadian soil, which together total 136 MW, participated with local partners and Enbdrige Suncor. Two of these parks, Magrath and Chin Chute, both 30-MW, are located in the province of Alberta, and the third – Ripley of 76 MW, in Ontario.

Acciona is also present in Canada in the infrastructure business, which has four ongoing projects under the formula public-private partnership (PPP): two motorways, the Stoney Trail Southeast, Calgary, and the A-30 Châteauguay-Vaudreuil -Dorion, Quebec, and two hospital-Fort St. John, British Columbia, and Royal Jubilee, Victoria.
